Board of Directors Appointed at Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) under the Chairmanship of Yaser Abduljalil Alsharifi
Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain, today announced the appointment of the board of directors at Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT).
Chaired by Yaser Abduljalil Alsharifi, the new board of directors at DANAT comprises: Rashad Redha Faraj, Amal Ishaq AlKooheji, Yusuf Abdulrahman Fakhro, Nouf Abdulrahman Jamsheer, Mohamed Abdulrazaq Shirazi, Danielle Pasquarelli Algosaibi, Khalid Mohammad Matar and Latifa Yousuf Salahuddin.
Welcoming the appointment of the new board members, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of Mumtalakat said, “Stewarding DANAT in line with the Institute’s vision to become the world’s preferred partner for natural pearl and gemstone third-party verification services, the new Board members bring with them deep industry knowledge, strengthening the DANAT management team’s ability to successfully execute the Institute’s strategy and ensure global impact.”
Drawing on the Kingdom’s rich pearling history, a diverse team of local and international gemmologists and pearl experts, and the latest scientific instrumentation and research facilities, DANAT will enhance Bahrain’s reputation among local and global clients as the centre of the pearl and gemstone industry.
