The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) took part in a prestigious event hosted by The Bicester Collection, held at the Conrad Hotel in Bahrain Financial Harbour. The exclusive gathering was attended by Her Excellency Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, and Mrs. Desirée Bollier, Global Chief Merchant of The Bicester Collection, alongside a distinguished group of prominent figures, international jewellery designers, and industry experts.

This participation forms part of DANAT’s ongoing efforts to elevate the international profile of Bahraini natural pearls. The event featured the launch of The Bicester Collection’s exclusive membership program. It also marked the announcement of a strategic collaboration between The Bicester Collection and DANAT, which will see certified jewellery pieces by DANAT offered through The Bicester Collection’s international retail network—further strengthening the global presence of Bahraini heritage in high-end jewellery markets.

Furthermore, the event showcased an exquisite collection of Bahraini pearl creations curated by the esteemed Al Zain Jewellery, celebrating the unparalleled beauty and rich historical legacy of Bahraini pearls as a vital expression of the nation’s cultural identity. Enhancing the experiential aspect of the event, the programme also featured a traditional oyster-shucking activity, providing guests with a rare opportunity to uncover the hidden pearls within and connect with Bahrain’s authentic pearling tradition.
